I want to be a Triangle
A downloadable game for Windows
The story:
Rector is a Rectangle living in Geoshape Prime and he needs to meet the princess Triangie to tell her something very important. Only problem, only Triangles are allowed in her manor. Rector has now only one solution to fulfill his destiny: becoming a Triangle.
The project itself:
It's my first game using the Godot Engine. My objective was to make a short, fun game, especially to test my skills and determine if I was able to make a more ambitious game.
Controls:
X/Enter -> Use
C -> Examine
I -> Inventory
S -> Previous item in inventory
D -> Next item in inventory
Shift/C (hold) -> Run
Arrows -> Directions
F -> Switch between 720p and 1080p resolutions
Z -> Zoom (depends on the screen resolution)
M -> (Un)mute all
Thank you for checking out my game. I hope you'll play it and enjoy it. :)

Hey! Thank you for your comment :)
How do I cut the wires at the phone booth?? I've tried using all my items on the phone, the glassblower, and the statues and nothing works
To cut the wires, you need a special tool, one you may find near a scientist...
think i'm missing an item to get me onto the manor's balcony. i have the coral and palm statues, some candy, coins, and my ID. not sure what to combine and i feel like i'm missing something rope-like
A rope you will find
Hidden in a cardboard box
Under the roof gear
I wish I could become a tringle too, good game.
Can't wait for I want to be a square.
Any hints on how to get the glassblower off the phone? I assume it has something to do with the phone booth but I can't seem to figure it out
It's a two-step process :
1- Open the phone cabinet (no screwdriver? well, maybe a coin will do the trick...)
2- SABOTAGE
The glass blower is still on the phone I guess? Maybe some sabotage near his workshop... 😈
Hi, I know when I find out the answer I'll feel really silly, but what do you do after becoming a triangle/giving candy to the banker/trying to get into the manor?
There's one way to get into the manor and it's not through the front door.
If you need another hint, don't hesitate. :)
Thanks for the response! Unfortunately I seem to be very dense today and I still don't know the answer.
You probably noticed the balcony on the right of the manor. All you need to do is find how to get up there. Combining objects in your inventory is necessary to achieve this goal. Good luck, heckos!
Ahhhhh, thank you very much!
Nice fun little game. I like the humour and music.

Fun little game.
Hello, I loaded the game but the resolution seems to be off on my computer. I can't find any obvious display options, and it defaults to Fullscreen. Can you tell me how to fix it?
Update: I found out that CTRL+F will change the game to windowed mode.
Glad you found out how to get the game in windowed mode. :)
Just pressing F is supposed to do the trick.
Thank you for playing my game. :)
Hi, I seem to be having a similar problem. However, when I press "F" it remains in fullscreen, and moves the upper left. It's weird, because you can see the original screen in the background, and the screen after pressing "F" just shows up in the upper left.
I'm running it in Boot Camp on my MacBook because my Windows desktop is broken at the moment; so I understand if you can't help me. Once my desktop is fixed, I'll try playing it there. However, if you have an idea on how to fix it sooner, I'd be much appreciative.
Thanks!
Hi, I figured it out. Sorry for the comment. If anyone runs into a similar problem, the solution is to go into Display Settings and set the Scale to 100% (Boot Camp increases it by default).
Thank you for your feedback. I'm happy you figured it out :)
As I wrote it (clearly not optimal), by pressing F, it's supposed to switch between 720p (windowed mode) and 1080p and put the game in fullscreen if your windows resolution is in 1080p too.
I hope it worked smoothly after this incident.
I really need to spend more time on resolution settings for my next game...
